Gigabyte will release a smartphone based on Android?

Internet publication DigiTimes has reported the output of A688 – the new phone based on Android, Foxconn-made for the Taiwanese mobile operator Vibo.

At the same resource, said the company Gigabyte is also interested in the release of mobile devices based on Android. Recall that Gigabyte has already introduced smart phones, but so far only on the platform of Windows Mobile (the latest was announced GSmart S1200).

According to unconfirmed reports, Gigabyte has already held talks with the operator Vibo and Taiwanese AboCom Systems on the production of smartphones running Google Android.
