HP, the First Notebook with USB 3.0

HP as one of the biggest notebook manufactures in the world is always wants to bring the newest technology on their product. Since HP launched their first product they always introduced many kinds of technology and it becomes their trademark and made them one of the success notebook manufacturers.  Now, they make a big hit with their new product of the new HP Envy 15. A new product of HP which is has the newest technology that is USB 3.0 technology.

This launch will make other competitors jealous because they claimed that they are the first producer which is applying USB 3.0 on their product. This HP Envy 15 also offers 5380 ATI graphic, and Intel Core 17 quad core processor. The USB 3.0 is offering up to 5 Gbps or 10x USB 2.0. So with this USB type we can copy a huge file like video faster. HP also will bring USB 3.0 on their other product that is HP Elitebook.

USB 3.0 had been talking everywhere, but HP is the first whom use it. That is why the other competitors will jealous with HP, because while they try to apply technology which was left by HP, Hewlett Packard had been using technology which is only in their mind.

Toyota Hybrid Sport Car

Japan is famous as one of the biggest country in the world in car manufacturing. Many brands come from this samurai country. One of the biggest cars manufacturers is Toyota. Toyota is a car producer which is always using technology on their products; now they are joined with the green technology. After they try to use hybrid technology on passenger cars and their other products, Toyota is trying to apply hybrid source power to their sport car.

This hybrid technology is applied on Toyota MR2; a sport car made by Toyota which stopped its production on 2007, and stopped its market on 2005 in America. Recently, MR2 produced again by Toyota as its owner, but using a new technology and new 3300cc V6 engine.

This technology was seen for the first time in the last Tokyo Auto Salon recently. Toyota MR2 hybrid concept has more than 1.200 kg weights, so it is heavier than MR2 Spyder which is only 990kg. The additional weight caused by the additional battery and its electrical engine. There is no other explanation from Toyota about when this sport car will be produce officially. But, Toyota wants to show their serious dream about application of technology thru this car.

The Crossover from Mitsubishi

The vehicle market will be entered by a new comer from Japan. One of the biggest cars manufactures in Japan that is Mitsubishi, launch their new product on Crossover type. This product will be launched on February 2010 for domestic market, and the global market after it. This Crossover is the development of their product Concept-cX which was showed in Frankfurt Motor Show 2007.

This product becomes the answer of Mitsubishi which was claimed as a producer that only concern about SUV and Passenger car. This is their strategy to join with the compact car market. From the exterior design, this Mitsubishi’s Crossover is still under Outlander or the American Pajero. But, he brings 1.800 cc diesel engine capacities under its hood, with Twin Clutch SST transmission like in the Lancer Evolution X. This type using all wheel drive to move its front and rear wheels.

With the coming of this product, the Crossover market will be more competitive because now Mitsubishi which is never known as crossover producer will have their own product on this type. After Geneva Motor Show on March 2010, when Mitsubishi brings this Crossover to be introduced, people will see how serious Mitsubishi make their Crossover, and then people will see how tough this product is.

Mahru-Z, Korean Housemaid Robot

Robotic scientists in all over the world are competing to find the best version on robot making. They believe that robot will help human in the future, so that human will only do their job easier. Many robots are made with helping purpose like secretary robot, teacher robot, etc. In Korea the researchers make a Housemaid Robot which is purposed to help people clean their house like a normal or human housemaid. This robot will take housemaid role in the house, so that people do not have to give any salary to their housemaid, because it is robot.

This robot is called Mahru-Z. This Mahru-Z was claimed by the Korean scientists as a genius robot because he can do every housemaid’s job like cleaning the house and cooking with microwave. This robot has component like a human; he can walk with 2 legs, 2 hands to hold something, and a head which is can spin 360 degrees. He also has six fingers, and 3D vision. Mahru-Z can read 3D object.

The Mahru-Z is the new development of Mahru-M; the Korean robot which is using wheels to move and can operate a computer. This project costs USD 3.5 billion per year since 2006.

Hybrid Technology on Lancer Strong Engine

Everybody knows that Mitsubishi Lancer from Mitsubishi Motors Corp (MMC) is one of the most famous cars in the world; Lancer is one of Mitsubishi’s icons. One of Lancer’s specialties is that he has a powerful engine. So, he becomes one of the most successful cars on World Rally Championship (WRC) in the 90’s. Lancer is entering its next generation, which is Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution XI.

This next Lancer still bring powerful engine under its hood. But Mitsubishi Motors as the owner of Lancer change the power source of their sedan with hybrid technology. This revolution shows that Mitsubishi Motors also has commitment to reduce pollution but still gives satisfaction to their costumers. Even give a hybrid technology, but Lancer still has its power. It is proved by its Lancer XI’s acceleration which only needs 4.5 sec to reach 96 km/h.

Hybrid Technology on Lancer is applied from PX-MiEV which has been showed on Tokyo Motor Festival last year. This sedan is using Hybrid only for front wheel, on the rear still using gasoline. This application makes hybrid technology on this car will dominant when it is driven in the city. But, we have to wait, because The Mitsubishi Motors Corp. will launch this Lancer on 2013.

Microsoft Windows Mobile 7 is coming

Microsoft will launch their newest mobile software, which is adapted from Microsoft newest Windows that is Windows 7. This Windows is called Windows Mobile 7. Microsoft wants to re- activate their costumer’s spirit on mobile software; because based on market, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 which was launched on last October can not make costumer satisfied.

But unfortunately, this product launch is unsure when will be launched. Some annalists said that Microsoft has taken the right way and it will be better if Microsoft confirm when the launch is. Because, faster they release this Windows; they will have a better result. Because if Microsoft takes too long to launch their Windows mobile 7 to the market, handset company will finds another software for their product.

Microsoft never produces their own cell phone, but they only provide the software on the market cell phone manufacturer. Recently, Windows Mobile market is uncompetitive because a lot of producers have their own software on their product like Apple with their iPhone, In Motion Ltd with Blackberry. In fact, Microsoft also lost in competition with Google’s product that is Android; which is free to use by cell phone manufacturer. We often meet Android on Motorola, HTC Corp., and other cell phone.
