The vehicle market will be entered by a new comer from Japan. One of the biggest cars manufactures in Japan that is Mitsubishi, launch their new product on Crossover type. This product will be launched on February 2010 for domestic market, and the global market after it. This Crossover is the development of their product Concept-cX which was showed in Frankfurt Motor Show 2007.
This product becomes the answer of Mitsubishi which was claimed as a producer that only concern about SUV and Passenger car. This is their strategy to join with the compact car market. From the exterior design, this Mitsubishi’s Crossover is still under Outlander or the American Pajero. But, he brings 1.800 cc diesel engine capacities under its hood, with Twin Clutch SST transmission like in the Lancer Evolution X. This type using all wheel drive to move its front and rear wheels.
With the coming of this product, the Crossover market will be more competitive because now Mitsubishi which is never known as crossover producer will have their own product on this type. After Geneva Motor Show on March 2010, when Mitsubishi brings this Crossover to be introduced, people will see how serious Mitsubishi make their Crossover, and then people will see how tough this product is.
