Google Person Finder for Chile

The 8.8 –magnitude Earthquake in Chile that happened on Saturday attracts lots of sympathy from many parts of the world. The earthquake has caused 300 fatalities as been reported by local authorities.  It was reported to have a risk of Tsunami. Many people are still missing due to the earthquake and many people are still looking for their relatives. To help people locate their loved ones and relatives who might have been affected by the earthquake in Chile, Google has launched a tool called Google person Finder.

Google Person Finder allows users to look for information about people by name or leave information about people in English and Spanish. The tool has worked and the page has contained 22,900 records in Sunday morning. Everyone can view the information and the company does not play a role in verifying the data input.  Therefore, people can enter the name of the person that they are looking for to know the position. Besides, using Google Person Finder, people can seek information by calling U.S. State Department.
