If we ask, “what technology for our house holds?” and the simple answer is washing machines. This is reality that the function of this machine helps the house wife to do the home task easier. Ask in entire house in the world and almost of them have had this machine. This machine makes the process of cleaning our clothes easier. Not depend the weather and this is real function of washing machines.

Another technology is refrigerator. This is almost become the common thing in house hold. This stuff brings function for save our food and keep fresh for a long time. From low price with minimum function until the high price with maximum function, the refrigerator takes a part in our house hold. This is fact; refrigerator is second stuff that valuable for house task.

If we talk about home stuff, we will talk the functions that help all house wives to run their daily activities, such blender, kitchen stuff, vacuum cleaner, etc. This is technology dedicated to the house hold. That thing is just the one of entire house hold stuff. From simple till complex stuff almost there in the house holds. Technology makes everything simpler for human life.

Computer is complex things with complex technology. Not every country able to make this thing. Only country with the high knowledge of technology can make this. Computer takes everything. And this existence proves the computer control almost all of our daily activities.

Many computers’ brands in the world take advantage from this existence. One of them is Windows. This corporate have a high demand and have the power to dominate the market in the world. With the Windows technology, our activities become easier to do. This fact that almost the computer in the world has Windows becomes the computer’s brain. More computers you have, more activities you can do. Become mankind with the proud of the technology. Bring the computer in your life, bring happiness to our life. China to Connect the World

There is a new innovation from China, the high-speed train from Beijing to London. China government predicts that it will be finished on 2020. They plan the train will pass through 17 countries at the speeds reaching 200 miles per hour. This is a huge project that China offers to 17 countries that will be passed by the high speed train countries.

Many countries will get benefit from this project, but China also wants to exchange mines from that 17 countries, like oil, minerals, gas, etc. China has a good idea for increasing the financial level and draining of natural resources at same time to reduce the economic strength. So, if this project has been finished, it will give good effect for many countries in the world.

China has project to build the construction and it will be designed on three lines. What are they? The first line will pass Beijing and London, it will take about two days. The second line will pass China and some countries in Southeast Asian, like Singapore, Myanmar, Malaysia, etc.  For the last lines, it will pass Germany, Russia, and cross Siberia. This project will make at least 17 centuries and will get huge benefit. The benefits include getting a high tech, high speed, and develop the cooperation between two or more countries that is connected with this project.

You also can set the iPad for sleep and control the volume easily by the external buttons. There are many applications in the iPad, like Safari, Mail, Photos, YouTube, iPod, iTunes Store, Notes, Calender. Contacts, and Spotlight. You can add more accessories in your iPad as you like to make it more functional and designed nicer and prettier, such as special case for iPad, camera connection, etc.

Gitzo’s Athena GH5130RC

Gitzo’s recently launched its new camera product called Athena. The Gitzo’s Athena is a fully electronic and remote-controlled head camera. It is one of the most attractive gadgets on CP+ 2010 on imaging exibition in Yokohama last week.

The Gitzo’s Athena can be controlled from a distance which means that you can take pictures anywhere you are. This Athena GH5130RC is mostly beneficial for nature photographers who find difficulty in catching objects in difficult situation. Simply put the camera in a place that might be inaccessible for human and control it from a distance to catch the objects. Moreover, the movement is ultra quiet and won’t distract the subjects. The Athena can also be used to catch object in hard-to-reach areas including on the top of basketball backboard. The user can easily control the position of the camera from a nearby computer.

The Gitzo’s Athena can also point in any direction to give the users full control of the camera. It can be set to vertical and horizontal direction as well as roll over on a swivel. The user can also find live viewing options and can input the camera positions. This product is not yet launched on the market. It seems that Gitzo should give more information about the Athena on the website anytime soon.

Nose Scanner: Nose Identify Verification

We are all fed up with identity theft issue. There are so many kinds of protection to prevent the identity theft. We have heard about biometric identity verification like irises and fingerprint scans. Recently, the researchers in the University of Bath developed a new identification technique using a nose scanner.

The research was led by Dr. Adrian Evans. It uses Photoface which is a 3D photographic system. It works by taking pictures of volunteers in different angles. The results were processed by computer software that analyze the shadows, colors, surface and depth of the point of the face. It is done in order to get image with unparalleled detail. The research team focused on the characteristics of the ridge profile, nose tip and naison, a part between eyes and top of nose. The result of the ridge’s curvature with the combination result of tip and nasion allowed the researchers to six main nose groups which are Roman, Greek, Nubian, Hawk, Snub, and Turn-up.

Moreover, the accuracy of the technique has a high rate of success in identifying 36 volunteers. Dr. Evan claimed the nose is easier to photograph. Thus, identifying nose is a better way to conceal surveillance. Although the technique was only applied for small number of people but it is worth to try.

Google’s Investment on Green Technology

Google keeps making innovation on technology, One of their invention is a prototype for a new mirror technology that will cut the cost of a solar thermal plant by half. It is reported that if the development runs well, the product will be ready and available in one to three years.

In making this prototype, Google has looked for unusual materials for the reflective surface of the mirror and the substrate as well. The energy of sun is used to heat a substance so that it can produce steam to run a turbine. Mirrors focus on the sun light on the substance that is heated. Google, as a giant search engine company, wants to cut the cost of making heliostats that is used to track the sun. It is predicted that with the new prototype, they can have a two times reduction in cost.

Dealing with global warming, it can be seen that global companies try to get involved in saving the environment by investing green technology that could limit the greenhouse gas emissions. Google itself has invested in two companies of solar thermal, BrightSource and eSolar. Hopefully, the new invention really brings great advantages to the world and can prevent global warming.

The Defense Department Made Its Peace with Social Media

The Defense Department which previously did not want to cooperate with social networking service and made everything confidential has made its peace with various social media. The U.S. Department of Defense says that they have no problem with social networking services and interactive applications. It is reported that the agency’s nonclassified network will be arranged to provide access to all Defense components. The U.S. Department of Defense recognizes that social networks are effective tools to interact with the agency and with general public.

However, it does not mean that The Defense Department will support malicious activity on the networks of military information. They still continue to fight deny access to forbidden content sites such as gambling and pornography. Moreover, they still keep the balance between use of Internet-based tools and network security.  They want to separate those two objects. It is because if they are too concern on the security, they are not able to access information sharing. On the other side, if they are too concern on information sharing, they will let get issues of operational security.

The military have used social-networking services for some time such as blogs, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and the like. They are recognized to play important roles for people’s daily life.
