Using battery as the source of power is convenience. It is because the battery enables the machine to become portable. With battery, there is no need to plug the machine into the electric switch. So, there is no need to bring the wires here and there.

But, there is also disadvantage of using the battery since it has limited lifespan. It means when the lifespan is due its limit, the battery has no power to empower the machine anymore. It means the battery needs to be replaced. And, if the battery is rechargeable, it needs to be charged as soon as possible. To charge the battery, electrical power is needed. But, it does not mean people need to seek for the hub. They can charge the battery by using the power of the movement. By jumping for at least 20 minutes with e-rope, the empty battery will gain back its full power. Yes, e-rope is jump-rope charger which is produced by Yanko Design.

The grip of e-rope is made of silicone with +/- printed on its surface as the sign of placement for the battery along with LED lights to show the charging process. The maximum number of the battery which can be charged at time is four batteries.
