Nowadays we have to face that we are in the era of technology. The development of technology is very fast. People desire to get simpler device to help them to solve any kind of problems. It is natural that we want the easiest and simplest way to solve our problem. This kind of desire is the one that trigger the development of technology. Even a monkey can control robotic arm with his mind. It is wonderful right?
This robotic arm is one of vision to move forward into the future. This is one of the events to show about advances in brain-computer interfaces. Editor of IEE, Erico Guizzo said that this mechanic hand is the most complex system that a monkey has ever mastered alone. This arm has seven degrees of freedom feature. In this experiment, monkey gets two brain implants. One is in the monkey’s head and another is in the arm. The implants are to use to monitor the firing of motor neuron and then send the data to the computer that use to command the arm.
If we take a look at the progress, it is very possible that human can do the robotic arm. Perhaps, for next few years, we will get one whole body that we can send to the office and do our job.
