This is the latest netbook from Samsung, the N230 just have been launched worldwide at 28th June. What makes this netbook difference is they offer up to 13 hours life if you sets up right. For an ultra-portable device it’s a huge one, because on the road most of us couldn’t have time to charge the battery. So, battery life is one of the most important to consider before buying a netbook.
Okay let’s now go to the details. Samsung N230 have 10.1 inch non-reflective LED (1024x 600 pixels) so you still can have a clear display even at outdoor. You can choose between 2 types of Intel Atom processor, N450 (1.66 GHz) or N470 (1.83 GHz). For the connectivity it’s equipped with Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and also DLNA ready. DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance, which means you can connect this device with a DLNA ready HDTV and then you can play your files directly to the HDTV. Oh yeah almost forgot, N230 also have an optional 3G connectivity and only weighed 2.2 pounds.
For the battery itself, Samsung provide 2 options. First, a 32Wh battery which will provide power up to seven hours. Or second, a 66Wh battery that will last long as 13 hours or more. With a difference more than 6 hours, sure I will suggest you to pick the 2nd.
