Amazon’s New Kindle DX

Amazon just launches their newest e-book reader gadget called New Kindle DX at July 1st, 2010. The price as already predicted by most of world gadget reviewer’s is dropped to US$379 from US$489. But although the price is drop, its still provide free 3G wireless connection with no contract or annual bill is required.

Price dropping is merely because more gadgets can adapt to read e-books, like iPad, smartphones and else. But when it comes for reading e-books I personally prefer to use Kindle because it’s more convenient to read. New Kindle DX comes with better 50% contrast and fonts are darker, make us more easily and conveniently read e-books. The size is 9.7 inch sure is enough for us. The Kindle Store now is the biggest e-book store, provide more than 600,000 items. In just last six month, more than 200,000 books have been added. And also 1.8 million books that already free copyrighted can be read, most of this book are classic books like Sherlock Holmes title.

With a free 3G connectivity, you just can download an e-book in approximately 60 seconds or less. This connectivity is paid by Amazon, and is globally ready in more than 100 countries. Once you download a book, you can read it not only inside Kindle, but you can also read it with any gadgets that support PDF reader. But with this improved display, why would we do that?
