Let’s talk again about the in-flight WiFi. We have probably known how the in-flight WiFi is quite expensive for passengers yet it is quite needed to avoid boredom or to keep-in-touch with other people, especially for the business persons. Some American airlines are still trying so hard to complete their airlines with the in-flight WiFi. Yet, the Cathay Pacific Airways, a Hong Kong airline, is now showing those American airlines how it is done.
Cathay Pacific Airways has just signed an agreement with the Panasonic Avionics to provide a full broadband connection on every Cathay Pacific’s airlines and all Dragonair aircraft passenger. Cathay is planning to make an internet service, up to 50 Mbps, and also an in-flight GSM service, including receiving calls, data and SMS as well.
Cathay Pacific Airways is also planning to complete its airlines with a television for each seat. Though there are still some further discussions to talk about, it looks like this agreement is going to be realized soon. When every Cathay airlines is already completed with the in-flight WiFi and other services, it will make the Asian flights more comfortable and enjoyable. It can also make the Asian vacations more crowded that the European or American vacations.
