Samsung Xcover E2370: Standby 67 days for you

Today’s cell phone era is for the smartphones, with people lining up for iPhone 4 and also the remarkable selling out 1.7 million in just three days, no doubt about it. And we keep forgetting about our dumb-phone, but if I said that in some areas the dumb-ones can compete with the smart-one, are you agree with that?

Two things that I’m sure enough that the dumb will outdo the smart are battery life and durability. Okay let’s refresh our memory, how many times you would likely charge your smartphone battery compared to your dumb-phone? And how many times you drop your dumb-one and it’s still working fine. Yes, in this area I’m sure the dumb is the winner.

Samsung will release their newest rugged phone called Xcover E2370 next month in Sweden. The feature is very compelling for people that need long lasting battery. It has 67 days of standby time that means 22 hour talk time. Also it’s IP-54 certified for dust and splash proof. With TFT 128×160 pixel, GSM/EDGE, FM Radio, VGA camera, internal 5MB memory and support for up to 2GB Micro SD slot. It’ll worth around US$96 to get it but no info yet about another Europe or US release date.
