It seems that Seagate is not satisfied with giving its users an option of connectors since its latest outfit GoFlex apparatus uses a docking system that gives users a simpler method to upgrade their NAS. Of course, the things that are really planned ahead will likely go ahead and take a multi-bay device such as the Drobo FS by Data Robotics. Yet, for the money, it is absolutely difficult to argue with the FreeAgent GoFlex Home.
Either 1TB or 2TB devices on FreeAgent GoFlex Home are designed to work flawlessly with Apple’s Time Machine and PCs that are based on Windows. Those devices offer a NAS dock for a drive to sit in, while the dock boasts a USB port to add external storage to share a printer or mix over the network.
Seagate also tosses in its service with Share Pro. It makes the families easier to access any contents stored on the drive from any mobile devices like iPad, iPhone and Blackberry. Most of all, the FreeAgent GoFlex Home’s 1TB only costs $159,99 while the 2TB costs $229,99. Those prices will surely not run out the money as they also help to back up any of our childhood memories.
