Following Wacom, Apple finally launches its Magic Trackpad. This laptop trackpad only has several buttons as it is mainly controlled with the pad. This device may become one of Apple attempts in eliminating the button on its gadget.

The design of this Magic Trackpad is not too much of unique. It has similarity with Apple Bluetooth keyboard. Although there are not many buttons, the device still has keyboard which is built on smooth, soft, machined aluminum with a curved back for a lift in the rear. The pad is quite ordinary with smooth glass front face. It is the same design as MacBook trackpad. The only different, this Magic Trackpad offers single clickable button for all its tracking area and it gives respond to gestures by using up to 4 fingers. The plastic section of the bottom of the pad is protected with small rubber feet. The battery compartment is easy to be accessed and it accommodates two AA batteries. Bluetooth radio can be found onboard which means the device is designed for quick and simple connection for all systems.

The size of this Magic Trackpad may give quite a shock since it is apparently much bigger than Apple’s laptop. The width of the device is 5.12 inches and the length is 5.17 inches. It means the overall size may reach 22 square inches.
