Samsung is issued to manufacture a new product in China, the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 or known as Samsung GT-P1000. This gadget uses the Android 2.2 platform. Following the previous series of Samsung Galaxy S, this Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 is also made with plastic material and therefore very lighter if compared to Apple’s iPad.
Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 comes with features like a 7 inch screen, with resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixel; a size said to be a lot thicker than Streak from Dell. Other features installed within the gadget are 3G network, 3.2 Mp camera, and e-book-ing application. Other specifications such as the processors used by the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 has not yet discovered so far. Seeing that little known about this product in Western media, it can be concluded that the product is not sold outside China.
However, much details of this gadget are unknown since not many sources discuss about this gadget. Yet, there is no press release from Samsung which confirms the releasing of the product. Supposed the product is really produced, not just a prototype, Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 can be one of the gadgets launched by other companies to throw iPad from its reign.
