Apple Welcomes Napster App on iOS

Before the launching of Apple’s music devices such as iPod, iTunes, iPhone, or even the iPad, music lovers who are eager to seek latest music content must recognize Napster. Around late 90s and early 2000, Napster was controversial due to its service of providing free music content for music listeners. Hand in hand, musicians from around the world, preferably from the United States threw the lawsuit against Napster. As a result, Napster was shut down in 2001.

The release of iPod in 2001 denoted the new era of music playing. When Napster no longer provides its service, Apple offered iPod as its alternative. The strategy run smoothly that until now, iPod is known as the world’s leader of portable music players. Comes with iPod is iTunes, software to enable music contents to be transferred to Apple devices. Not only works with iPod, iTunes also compatibles with iPhone and iPad.

Recently, the media has announced that Napster is coming back. Instead of providing free services like it used to give, Napster is now providing the application which is compatible with Apple’s iOS. The said application will allow Apple device users to get music streaming from Napster. With only $10 per month, Napster and Apple ensure the users to be able to stream and store millions of music collection.
