Asus stated that it plans to hit the markets with two simultaneous series of tablets, Armdroid and Wintel. The rumor on the plans had been leaked and even revealed. But yesterday, the company president confirmed the news, it is not a rumor anymore. Before the end of the year, exactly in December, ASUS will launch the form factors for the tablets. They will be available in 7-, 9-, 10-, and 12-inch display.
The 12-inch model is specially built in collaboration with Microsoft. Therefore, it will run Windows with one of the Intel series. It will be available in the market at the beginning of January. The participation of Microsoft has also resulted in some improvement in the technological support for the 12-inch model. The improvement is marked on the touch control and user interface. No further leaks are available on the 12-incher model.
Little information is also leaked on the 7-incher, 9-incher, and the 10-incher. But they are reportedly set to be launched in March next year. The 7-incher will be launched in a pair, one with the Wi-Fi support and the other with 3.5 G and phone functions. The 7-incher will run android. Android will also be found in the next two series. The 9-incher pairs will be available in Android and Wintel table. In about the same time, the 10-inch tablets will also hit the stores. In total, before March 2011, there will be five or six new tablets from ASUS.
