The name Acer Aspire One D255 is not new, since Acer had launched a seemingly similar name last month, Acer Aspire One D260. At a glance, One D255 looks very similar to Acer Aspire One D260. However, this updated version will come with a different processor. Thus, the readers will not see repetitive product here. More interestingly, the updated version will come with pocket friendly pricing. It costs only $330.
Acer Aspire One D255 comes with Intel Atom N550 Dual-Core processor running at 1.5 GZ that ensures faster performance. It is particularly faster on multi-threaded applications even though it will slightly be slower on single-threaded ones. It comes with 10.1-Inch screen and 1025 x 600 resolutions. Another striking feature that differentiates Acer Aspire One D255 from One D260 is lack of chrome elements. The enthusiasts may choose one powered with Windows 7 Starter or Windows XP Home Edition. In terms of battery, two options are available, 6-cell battery or 3-cell battery.
