Android is a mobile phone application baed on Linux operation system, nowadays become trend all aorunf the world. Like any other Linux-based operation system, Android provides the open platforms to let anyone make additional application for any other kinds of mobile hardwares.
Android, first launched on November 5, 2007, cooperates with the Open Handset Alliance to support the system of open development to mobile phones and hardwares. The world recognizes two types of operation system using Android. First one is with Googel support, named Google Mail Services or knows as GMS, and another one is that freely distributed without Google, famous as OHD or Open Hand Distribution.
The first mobile phone using Android was produced by HTC, launched early 2010 by Google, famously called Nexus One. Android has several platforms developed since its launching at the first time three years ago. With the open source project of Android, gives more possibility for any information technology programmers around the world to contribute more and more for the development of the operation system and the applications can be attached. With the market scattered around the world, people can easily buy any applications using Android, or even get them free by downloading from the internet.
