Google’s Chrome OS Netbook Will Be Available on Tuesday, Some Specs Leak

Few days before the official release of Google’s Chrome OS netbook, many enthusiasts begin to speculate the specs. For some, the specs are pretty good. Let’s see some of the leaked portions. It is rumored that Google’s Chrome OS netbook will take in Nvidia Tegra platform, which hosts an ARM CPU. There will be a 10.1-inch multi-touch screen, a 64GB SSD, 2GB of RAM, and some other compulsory specs, including Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, and a webcam.

More interestingly, the Google’s Chrome OS netbook will be preloaded with the trending suite of Google Apps. Engadget today presents the estimated operation of Google Chrome OS netbook keyboard. It pictures the machine’s keyboard, and details of the buttons. It depicts average chiclet keyboard with some differences, including in the use of Caps Lock key, Forward/Back keys, Search key and Windows key.

The customers will be provided with discounted price of under $300. If the rumor holds, the price is really impressive even though is only powered with an Atom processor. The netbook can be ordered directly from the Google’s website. According to some news account, the netbook will only be available online. Google’s Chrome OS netbook will be on sale from December 7th 2010 through December 14th. The enthusiasts have one week to order the netbook.
