Zalman N Series Solid State Drive Supported by SandForce SF-122 Controller

Zalman is joining the solid-state drive realm. It debuts with N Series SSD that is based on SandForce SF-122 controller. Even though Zalman is not the first to join the business, it promises a number of benefits the users would get. SandForce-based SSD is known speed, resilience, and reliability. Such properties are inferred from a series of testing conduction by different reviewers during the recent months.

Zalman N Series are available in two models. The first is 64GB model that starts at $169, and the other is 128GB model that is offered at $289. Zalman, which is known for cooling case items, builds both SATA solid-state drives with the same dimension, 0.5-inch.  Moreover, the solid-state drives are optimized for AHCI Mode and supporting WIN7 Trim Command. There is no wonder that N Series offer ultra-fast speed. Both models bestow the users with speed rates of 280MB/second for reading process and 270MB/second for writing speed.

In addition, the customers will be tickled to death with their fast start-up and reliability. They operate smoothly and silently while requiring less power consumption. However, for some reviewers, Zalman does not offer spectacular difference in its debut. Many devices are available in the market with comparable specs, although Zalman N Series offers the customers with more testable options.
