Enspert made advantage of International CES to introduce two tablets simultaneously. Enspert names the tablet series IDENTITY. The Identity series will feature a number of Android-based tablets. Enspert began by introducing Enspert E201 and Enspert E301 tablets. Both tablets run Android Gingerbread platforms. They are designed for educational and entertainment purposes since the tablets are built with color LCD e-book reader, HD video playback, and Internet browsing features.
Web browsing features are supported with Wi-Fi (E201 model); meanwhile the E301 model has 3G connectivity in addition to Wi-Fi. Now, let us begin from the specs of E301 model. The tablet hosts a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600 capacitive touch-screen. The screen is beautiful enough for a standard TFT LCD screen. It is also wrapped with all-metal case. There are a 1.3 megapixel webcam, micro-HDMI port, headphone jack, and a DMB antenna. It is powered by 1GHz ARM Cortex CPU, 512 MB of RAM, and 8GB of flash storage.
The Enspert E201 model runs Android 2.1 (even though Enspert vows to update it with Froyo in the near future). In terms of specs, E201 model has seemingly comparable specs to those of E301 model. However, it has PowerVR SGX54 graphics chip and full-size SDHC card slot. The E201 has been available in Korea, but both will be available worldwide soon. The prices of E201 model ranges from $200 to $250 with E301 under $300.
