Hp Pavilion dv6 Laptops Found to Use Intel Core i7-2630QM Sandy Bridge CPU in Singapore

Intel has not yet launched its Sandy Bridge CPU and will not release the masterpiece before the CESS event in January 5th, 2011. At the same event, some manufacturers will launch their best products to enliven the competition in laptop, desktop, or tablet. Some computer manufacturers like Dell, Hp, ASUS, and Acer have overtly showed their intent on integrating the Sandy Bridge CPU into their products. However, some manufacturers are seemingly impatient to wait for the official release.

Few days ago, internet was buzzed with the rumor that Intel Core i7-2630QM Sandy Bridge CPU was spotted in already stocking Hp Pavilion dv6 laptops. It seems awkward, but the spotted laptops had specs that are not far different from the estimated specs. Inside the laptop, there are 4GB of RAM, AMD’s Radeon HD 6570M GPU, and a 15.6-inch display. In Singapore, the Hp Pavilion dv6 laptop is priced at 899 Singapore dollars or $1.460.

Actually, some retailers have started shipping notebooks that are powered by Sandy Bridge CPUs, and Hp Pavilion dv6 laptops were the first to spot. Sandy Bridge CPUs are preferred is characterized with quad processing cores with Hyper-Threading support and integrated Intel HD graphics. Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology allows the CPU to be clocked at 2.0GHz and to run as high as 2.8GHz. So far, no confirmation comes from Hp.
