Maingear Introduces Sandy Bridge-powered eX-L15 Laptop for Gaming and Multi-Threaded Applications

The second-generation processor from Intel, Sandy Bridge CPU, has been so phenomenal that almost every laptop and PC manufacturer wants to integrate the CPU into at least one of its devices. Up until now, Sandy Bridge is still claimed to be the world’s fastest CPU. Few days ago, it was Maingear’s turn to announce its Sandy Bridge-powered eX-L15 laptop. Maingear announced the ultra-speed laptop just few days after it introduced Cluth-15 and Alt-15 machines.

Maingear targets the laptop for high-performance gaming and multi-threaded applications. The laptop is also supported by NVIDIA GeForce GTX485M graphics that offers DirectX 11 performance and provides stunning graphics. Imagine the quality and the speed of any laptop that combines the fastest mobile graphics and Intel’s second generation CPU, which integrates CPU, memory controller, and PCI Express. It may not be an exaggeration if Maingear claims that the notebook is six times faster that the average notebooks.

Maingear’s EX-L15 laptop is equipped with a 15.6-inch LED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. The memory options are available up to 16GB of DDR and hard drive capacity of up to 1 TB. You will also find an optical drive with 2x Blu-ray reader in addition to other compulsory features, including HDMI output ports, USB3.0 ports, USB2.0 port, headphone jack, microphone jack, Wi-Fi, and DVI-output port. The notebook is available in matte finish, with a price starting from $1.579.
