Intel offers another Atom processor platform for tablets. Surely, it is aimed at equipping tablet producers in the 2011 tablet war. New Intel ‘Oak Trail’ Atom Processor for tablet gives another chance for device innovation. It is an accelerated version of Intel Atom processor in that it moves the devices faster than ever. The new Atom processor offers several advantages, including more Oak Trail designs that support a number of tablet-producing brands like Fujitsu, Lenovo, Razer, Viliv, and Evolve III.
Indeed, Intel will generate another tablet platform called ‘Cedar Trail’ for tablet and entry-level desktop. The platform offers some features, including Wireless Music, Wireless Display, PC Synch and Fast Boot; all are from Intel. The customers will also enjoy better media, graphics, and less power consumption. The new Intel Oak Trail platform is integrated in Intel Atom processor Z670. It gives enhanced video playback, faster internet browsing capability and longer battery support.
Intel ‘Oak Trail’ is available now. You can expect to find it packed in tablets and desktops starting on May until the end of the year. Intel states that new Intel processor platform will be available in more than 25 innovative tablet and hybrid designs. Overall, Intel Oak Trail and Cedar Trail will answer the customers’ concern on speed and performance. The platforms also support Adobe Flash for richer gaming and media contents.
