A small company, Android, has been acquired in 2005. There are some co-founders of Android who worked at Google, like Andy Rubin, Nick Sears, Chris White, Rich Miner. At that time, there are not many people who know how Android works and what the function is, only few know about it. There was a time when a rumor emerged and said that Google has a plan to enter mobile phone market.

Rubin lead a team from Google to develop a mobile device OS based on Linux. To provide a system that has flexibility and upgradeable, they were cooperating with handset makers and carriers. Reportedly, there is a series of hardware component and also software partners which had been lined up by Google. Google also stated to have any kind of cooperation with the carriers in any degrees on their parts to make Android technology comes true.

After passing through a long production process, Google finally introduced Android platform to mobile phone market. This introduction also involved the Open Handset Alliance, telecommunications companies , a group of hardware and software that had been made an agreement with Google to give their contributions to develop and distribute this platform. Now, Android becomes a well-known platform using for smart phones in all over the world.

Internet Explorer 9 is Wasted?

Internet Explorer 9 beta version has launched by microsoft recently, but that new browser can not be used by a large number of people using windows XP. According to that fact, IE 9 will can not be used by 2/3 PC user because, until august 2010, XP user still dominate global market of OS Windows that is about 66,7 percent. While, vista user is about 15 percent and windows 7 only 17 percent.

But IDC analyst argue that it just a matter of time before XP user move to Windows 7. In the next 18 month, there will be many company and consumer who changing their OS with Windows 7. In other side, Ray Valdes, an analyst from Gartner says that it will be the main weakness of Internet Explorer 9. Also, this is a chance for competitor to cut down the size of Internet Explorer market.

Indeed, Microsoft has not release the full version yet. So there still a chance for the Goliath to consider a lot number of XP user. Internet Explorer 9 claimed have ability to change any website into aplication in windows taskbar. A number of website can be united thus enable user to access favorite site just with one click. Unfurtunately, IE9 final version is about to release on april 2011.
