Greater Degree of Safety with Webooti Computer for Your Kids

It must be recognized that a number of advances in computer technology has benefitted adults in most of their activities. But what the children needs is often neglected. The existing computers and laptops are not recommended to use by children due to their vulnerability. This week, computer hardware specially designed for children are being discussed by enthusiasts. This is specially targeted for parents who do not pay frequent attention to their children while using the computer.

Savvy parents will certainly not miss Webooti, an ultra-simple PC equipped with 128 MB RAM, and 8 GB hard disk with a higher degree of safety. With its ‘bold’ body and insensitive features, significantly lesser harms can be expected.  It comes with an original and convivial design with various options of colors that fit you kid’s taste. Its shock-proof and compact design is not bestowed with sharp angles, screw, and connecters, no visible cables and no external mouse.

Protected keyboard and screen will provide the ultimate safety for your children. However, one of the limitations of the Webooti is that it is still supported by Pentium IV processor. Thus it is rumored to have less speed when the users access internet connection through Wi-Fi or 3G IP connection it is built with. However, it is noted to be an environmentally friendly computer for it requires lower energy consumption.

Iomega Skin Hard Drive Review

Iomega Skin is a hard drive. Users put stuff on it or even back up their computer to it. It is expected that if something bad happens to their computer, they can easily get their stuff back off the drive. This drive indeed functions as it is expected, the USB 2.0 is the normal speed that users are used to, so there is nothing special about it.

Where the Iomega Skin stands out is indeed the design. Iomega worked together with Al Borda, Skin Inc. designer, to create a product which appeals to fashion conscious users. Its external drives are also trying to get better up as well. There are 3 different options in the lone of the Skin, for example the Iomega Radical that is a retro symbol on a black top with its yellow bottom. This design does not look bad at all. There is also the Knock Out, which is a black base which has a silver top and the Skin logo in gothic designs.

The hard drive from Iomega Skin is really a great product. It has the quality of the Iomega, with a small dash of the design to make it look different from the other hard drives out there. In addition, if users go online and browse, they can pick one hard drive for less than $100.

The Self-Cleaning Road; the New Invention that Clean the Road and Purify the Air

If you live in a big city, you will likely to feel the polluted air around you which is caused by the smoke of many vehicles. In addition, though there are not many trees on the right and left sides of the road nowadays, there is still some dirt exists on the road surface. This dirt can be caused by some factors, including the result of the polluted air itself.

Yet, today there is a new smart invention that can solve both the dirty-road problem and the polluted-air problem. This invention does not have an exact name, but it is called the self-cleaning road. It is developed by some researchers at the University of Eindhoven, Netherlands in which they try to make both self-cleaning road and air-filtering road cleaner.

This invention works by getting the NOx gripped by TiO2 or Titanium Dioxide which is then baked into the pavements. Titatium Dioxide is such photocatalytic material which uses the sunlight to change the NOx to nitrate. This nitration of the NOx is then washed away by the rain. In addition, the materials of the road also break down the dirt and algae, therefore the road stays clean. Though there are still a lot of tests to do, the self-cleaning road sounds like a brilliant idea to make the road keep clean.

Why the In-Flight WiFi is Demanded Yet Unused?

What do we have in mind when we have to fly for more than 20 hours in a plane? Boring? Tiring? There are many different opinions for people when they have to face that kind of situation. Some people will be very bored as they have to wait for 20 hours without being able to do something different. For business people, for instance, they will feel guilty as they cannot work or deal with the marketplace, or even talk to their important client. Therefore, some people demand the need for in-flight WiFi.

However, there are some pros and cons about the use of in-flight WiFi. Some passengers think that it will be very useful for them when they have to deal with a long-hour flight. They can browse the Internet while or chat with their relatives in messengers. Yet, no one indeed really uses the in-flight WiFi. There are only less than 10% of passengers who use the in-flight WiFi.

The question is then, why are not there many passengers using the in-flight WiFi? One reason is because of its cost, which is quite expensive for ordinary passengers. Only some demanding business persons who really use the in-flight WiFi. However, there are some groups of business persons who do not want to use it because they want to have some break from their emails and other online functions. The last reason is probably because of there are not many planes – only 950 – which are provided with the WiFi. If only the cost of this in-light WiFi can be a bit cheaper, surely there will be more people who take an advantage of it.
