Apple now is in iPhone4 euphoria with the 1.7 million sales just for 3 days. But this week is the time for Safari web browser’s sorrow in browser war. But the winner is still Microsoft Internet Explorer with 52% user across US; the second best is Firefox with 28.5% and then the 3rd is Google Chrome for 8.97%. Safari now sits on 4th place with 8.88%.
For the global market, Chrome already makes big difference ahead of Safari. Still the 1st is Internet Explorer with 53% global market dominance. The 2nd is Firefox with 31%. And then Chrome with 9.4% while Safari only sits on 4%. This global data is gathered by StatCounter from around 3.6 billion page views; while in US surveys are around 874 million page views.
