After it comes to HD VOD on cable boxes, March Madness on Demand is going to extend its service coverage to from HD streaming on PC to live video via tablets and mobile devices. The deal with be realized on March 11. From Atlanta, Ga, Turner Sports in collaboration with CBS Sports and NCAA delivered a press release on the March Madness on Demand (MMOD) live products. The MMOD will be accessible from various digital platforms, including iPhone, iPod, and iPad app.
The collaborating enterprises offer some feature improvements, including richer viewing quality, larger content format, social companion view, and customizable channel lineup. The MMOD from NCAA will stream every video game of 68 new tournaments anytime they are broadcasted by CBS sports and Turner Sports. The tournaments include semifinal round of Men’s Final Four, national championship games, and First Four.
More importantly, the MMOD from NCAA 2011 will be available free of charge from March 10th 2011. It can be obtained from App Store on iPad, iPhone, iPod, and tablets. Of course, this is a great chance for the fans of sport games. They can get enhance the functionality of the mobile devices and tablets to enjoy the great sporting games. NCAA, Turner Sports, and CBS Sports have established the partnership since 2003 and they commit to enhance and distribute greater services on more platforms.
