When people find a weird and beautiful unicorn, they see them mostly on the Nellseven glens of the Seven Hills of Valpinore and not down there in Bay Ridge. Yet, Brklyn Surfer has just brought the new-in-box Gizmondo which includes the extra text of spam-gasmic and also a blurry-camera photo so blurry it can be mistaken for having modern art. On the other hand, if this is indeed a real Gizmondo, then it is definitely in unicorn territory.

So what is a Gizmondo? The Gizmondo is indeed a handheld gaming console that was launched by Tiger Telematics in March 2005. Gizmondo has both the GPS and GPRS technology. The electronics design was made by Plextek Limited while the industrial design was undertaken by Rick Dickinson.

The Gizmondo was actually sold poorly. On February 2006, the company then discontinued the device and was also forced into bankruptcy. Yet, in 2008 Cark Freer said that he had dealt with the liquidators and then planned to re-launch Gizmondo as Gizmondo 2. It is expected that the new Gizmondo will be able to hit the marketplace and be sold worldwide. As a matter of fact, it is definitely a great device for any game lovers.
