Green Cars in 2010

The pollution happens these recent years have increased the global warming. One of the factors that support the global warming is pollution by cars. To solve this problem, many scientists and car factories from different countries race to make green cars for everyone. They try to make green cars that can minimize the emission or even produce zero emission. After the long time research, there are some factories that ready to launch their hybrid car in 2010.

Toyota is one of the biggest car factories in Japan. In the 2008 they started their research to make a more perfect green car, and now in 2010 the will launch their new Toyota hybrid car. This year, Toyota will launch new Prius. Toyota claims that with the help of the full charged battery, Toyota Prius can run 100 miles for every gallon it consumes. This is a record that not every green car able to break. Having the same project as Toyota, Chevrolet from USA also makes a new green car to be launch in 2010. Chevy Volts is the latest Chevrolet hybrid car to compete with other cars in its class. Chevrolet claims that Chevy Volts can run 300 miles without any gasoline. The energy is gotten from 16 kWh lithium batteries and the car only need gasoline to start the generator and works only after the batteries are exhausted.

Another USA car factory, GM, also launch their new green car in 2010. GM named Saturn VUE as the new GM hybrid car. Carrying a big V6 machine, Saturn VUE can run with the battery power in low and medium speed. After reaching the high speed, Saturn VUE will combine the electric power and gasoline to supply the machine energy. These are only some green cars that expected to be launch in 2010. There are more green cars from other factories that can have a better solution for the environmental problems.
